Nice, but I hate it.

I don't like the fawning, 'do no wrong' kind of love for Hermione. So to read this, I really like to see the depth of her screw up shoved right into her face. To be fair, she is a teenaged girl and she isn't known for being socially gregarious or even particularly adept at people management skills. It's not surprising she would do this.

Hermione had chosen the worst possible moment to emulate Lavender and Parvati. Well, our choices have consequences.

THIS was absolutely outstanding. Yes, it was a terrible story (as in heart rending) but so well done I had to share it with my wife as we drove home this evening.

Very, very well done.

To bad there is no more. Curious that the wand who is Harry's wand twin could kill him but alas it does not matter.

Most excellent! Hermione was so stupid. She should have gone to see him! Actually she should have just said yes and taken into account his background.

This is extremely sad. I like my entertainment to be uplifting. You have done a good job of writing this story but I won't be reading it again. Thanks for writing. I hope you have something happier next time.

Okay, I'm writless. (And no, that's not a typo.)

I'm gonna go look for This Means War, I need something more upbeat now.

This is sad. I really don't like stories where all hope is lost and Harry dies. I appreciate your skill but this leaves me depressed. I hope you have some upbeat stories I can read in the future. pms

Well written. Obviously, something of a downer. A bit unrealistic perhaps in the "didn't read Hermione's letters." Still, well written and moving.

This a good and sad story

I felt sorry for Hermione that she made such a bad choice, but there were no way for her know that there be a high price to pay for her choice. But every choice has a consequence, don't matter if it's good or bad.

I have a hard time seeing that Harry would give up over one person, The whole school is against him and he did not give up. I know Hermione was still on his side

A very good story it is a rare treat where Hermione is not perfect, and a nice death for Harry he really is better off dead, killing the Dark Lord, the death eaters and dealing with the Ministry and the public is too much to ask form one person who only really wanted a family and girlfriend.

I am glad you said something about the blood wards and I am very pleased the Dursley's were killed.

If you add to this story it would be funny if Hermione is hunted down by the magical population all of them some for helping kill Harry in the name of playing games and the rest because she is muggle born. Or you could have her take the Dark Mark since Tom Riddle is half blood (just) and so is Snape the favourite potion master an exception could be made for helping win the war which would drive Draco mad he is on the side that won and he still has to deal with Granger.

Thanks for this story and I look forward to your next.

That was a rather dark little tale, however I liked it. I was sitting in my hot tub before I came on the computer thinking that Hermione should not be great and good all the time, and here was your tale.
Thanks

Woah. Very depressing.

And why in blazes didn't Hermione, the cleverest girl of her generation, darn well scream "Harry, I *do* love you!" right there at the end? Hopefully causing Harry to somehow recover in time? Darn.

Meteoricshipyards posted a comment on Thursday 16th December 2010 9:35pm for "Angst - Destruction"

Harsh. I was expecting Harry to recover at the last minute from something Hermione said, and almost accidently kill Voldemort.

This is probably more realistic.

Thanks for the story.

Well let me just say Welcome ter the site, and, I hate this story. Well written of course. I just can't stand that it would be so easy. Who would have thought that Dumbledore was right, while Hermione could have been so wrong?
